A Guitar Special double bill, in tribute to our dear, much missed friend and colleague, Dave Colton.
Vocalist Diana Torti and composer and guitarist Sabino de Bari, started their musical journey as a duo in 2006, complementing their extensive individual collaborations with revered musicians such as E. Morricone and L. Francesconi.
Their music explores Mediterranean culture and more, through rich harmonies, refined melodies and a wide palette of sound and timbre. They have produced several recordings, most recently ‘On a Cloud’ (nominated among the best jazz vocal releases of 2019 by TNYCJR and Jazz Views) and ‘It’s All We Have’. Beautiful, intriguing, heartfelt and fearless.

A highly regarded performer across several genres, John’s impressive credits include: Kenny Wheeler, Charlie Haden, Peter Erskine, Paul Motian, Andy Sheppard, Norma Winstone, Lee Konitz, Mark Lockheart, Annie Lennox, Goldfrapp, Rumer, Robbie Williams and Mike Oldfield.
He is also a composer, founding member of the acclaimed Loose Tubes, and renowned session musician on film scores including Skyfall, Lord of the Rings, The Fantastic Mister Fox and Finding Neverland. A master musician: endlessly creative and nuanced.
