A previous winner in the tenor sax category of the British Jazz awards, and a recent recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Worshipful Company of Musicians, Art has been featured with virtually everyone on the UK jazz scene.
He toured the world fronting Stan Tracey’s quartet for 20 years and has also played alongside numerous American legends including: Philly Joe Jones, George Coleman, Red Rodney, Bud Shank, Nat Adderley, Arturo Sandoval and Scott Hamilton. Outside of the jazz scene he has accompanied such diverse artists as Mick Jagger, George Harrison, Rod Stewart, Jack Bruce, Joe Cocker, Chuck Berry and Bing Crosby.
We are honoured to be presenting Art in this cracking trio setting, and following three sell out concerts at Ronnie Scott’s this year alone, do not snooze on tickets!
