Multi-award-winning jazz vocalist, lyricist and producer, Georgia Mancio, is a supreme storyteller and formidable force on today’s scene, creating work of beauty and bite, both personal and political.
Her copious industry acknowledgements include two Parliamentary Jazz Awards: Best Vocalist (2021) and Best Album (2020), and several nominations at the Jazz FM, British Jazz and Urban Music Awards. Her albums consistently chart Top Ten in prestigious end of year Critics’ Choices.
Her revered partnership with Grammy-winning pianist/composer Alan Broadbent, has yielded over 40 co-written works, three globally acclaimed albums (‘Songbook’ ,’Quiet Is The Star’ and ‘A Story Left Untold’) and performances across Europe and the US, including Ronnie Scott’s and Jazz at Lincoln Center (NYC). Other credits include: Liane Carroll, Ian Shaw, BBC Proms (2019), Pat Metheny (lyric approval), Bobby McFerrin and her own festivals ‘ReVoice!’ and ‘Hang’.
