We are very sorry to announce that due to a family bereavement, Liz Fletcher (who was previously advertised) will be replaced by award-winning vocalist, Jo Harrop, for tonight’s concert.
We will reschedule Liz later in the year but are immensely grateful to have caught Jo, fresh from her American tour and ahead of her new album release, ‘Beautiful Fools’, produced by the legendary Larry Klein.
Jo cut her teeth as a session singer, working with iconic artists including Neil Diamond, Rod Stewart and Gloria Gaynor, but quickly established herself as one of the most unmistakable vocalists and songwriters in British jazz. Her fanbase includes the legendary Iggy Pop and her collaboration with British label, Lateralize Records, includes the 2023 Parliamentary Jazz Award for ‘Best Album’ for ‘When Winter Turns To Spring’ with pianist/composer Paul Edis.
Expect spellbindingly beautiful vocals, classic jazz standards and originals.
