"A truly stellar all-round performance: stop-time chords, neat turnarounds, valid interchanges, nimble adjustments – all jazz life was here." - Jazzwise Magazine
Acclaimed vibraphonist, Nat Steele, has been a bandleader since 2009, regularly appearing at major UK venues and festivals. His debut album, “Portrait of the MJQ”, launched at a sold-out Ronnie Scott’s and was awarded “Jazz Album of the Month” by BBC Music Magazine, and 4 stars from both The Observer and Jazzwise.
He has also performed with acclaimed American musicians: pianist/composer Alan Broadbent and saxophonists Grant Stewart and Scott Hamilton, the latter featuring on a forthcoming album. Strongly influenced by Milt Jackson, Charlie Parker and Bud Powell, Nat’s performances are always of the highest musical calibre.
