Fast rising saxophonist, composer and podcaster, Rob Cope, studied at Chetham’s, Royal Northern College and Royal Academy of Music.
He has released two critically acclaimed albums, Gods of Apollo and Gemini, and made appearances with the Halle and English Symphony Orchestras, and the Matthew Herbert Big Band. He also performs in Matt Robert’s BigISH Band, Andy Scott’s Group S and contemporary classical ensemble, SoundSPARK.
Tonight’s concert will also pay tribute to Rob’s Parliamentary Jazz Award-nominated, ‘The Jazz Podcast’ which has featured a host of national and international artists for 8 years.
